UNDERCOVER PHOTO BOOK "GRACE"
Instead of a runway show JUN TAKAHASHI had worked on for 14 years, he made this photo book as their fresh attempt. JUN TAKAHASHI has chosen renowned photographer KATSUHIDE MORIMOTO to depict the story
of the GRACE collection with him. Within GRACE, JUN TAKAHASHI has shared his thoughts and emotions to why does he need this revolution.
Two crucial factors triggered JUN TAKAHASHI to reach this decision - firstly, his doubts on the "runway entertainments" with models wearing new pieces and walking around. Secondly, his desire to show his works more freely.
GRACE has drawn me into a surreal world. I really wish to own one life size print.
UNDERCOVER "GRACE" EXHIBITION
,集合UNDERCOVER這半年大成所發表的照片展,除此之外也推出
寫真書"GRACE"也是以這幾年高橋先生致力於製作的人形布偶生物"GRACE"與"流行"兩元素相結合,並由攝影師守本勝英操刀拍攝,流行界與攝影界
兩位大師極力推薦之作品,此次也將在20日展覽上少量先行推出,一般書店則預計本月上旬正式發售,售價15,750日元.
UNDERCOVER is currently holding a photo exhibition together with photographer KATSUHIDE MORIMOTO in UC flagship store Aoyama, Tokyo. For the occasion UC has produced several special items, including t-shirts and tote bags, all featuring photo prints from works of the exhibition. Via JUN TAKAHASHI.
The product will be available at Isetan in Japan and at Undercover flagship stores.
