I bought 6 tickets (Floor, Block A) for Green Day on Saturday, January 16th at AsiaWorld Expo in Hong Kong. Now I have to go to my friend's wedding in Australia then, so I can't make it.
UPDATE: THE FLOOR IS ALL SOLD OUT! I still have 2 left. I paid HK$660 each after service charges. Please PM me if you're interested in buying one off me.

Green Day Live in Hong Kong
GREEN DAY– a Grammy Award-winning American rock trio of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals) and the Tre Cool (drums, percussion).

Formed in 1987 and now a well established somewhat anti establishment band, they have chalked up over 65 million album sold worldwide.

Its major debut label, Dookie (1994) became a breakout success and eventually sold over 10 million copies in the U.S and 15 million worldwide. As a result, Green Day was widely credited alongside with fellow Californian punk bands The Offspring and Rancid for reviving mainstream interest in and popularizing punk rock in the United States.

Green Day's follow-up albums, Insomniac and Nimrod reached double platinium while Warning had gold status. In 2004, Green Day's “rock opera” American Idiot reignited the band's popularity and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard charts. In 2005, the band was nominated for 9 Billboard Music Awards and won 6 of them, including "Rock Artist of the Year" and "Rock Song of the Year."

Its eighth latest studio album, 21st Century Breakdown, was released on May 15, 2009.

Green Day have won three Grammy Awards - Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot, and Record of the Year for Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Green Day is currently touring North America which started in July 2009 and will continue around the world throughout the rest of 2009 and early 2010.

Green Day is represented by Warner Music.

born in la, moved to maryland when i was 5, then back to california to go to college. joined my friend's company in xiamen and ended up moving to china. then worked on a project with boys from alive (alivenotdead.com) and spent most of my time in hong kong. now back in california! lots of changes in my outlook on life, the universe, and everything over the past few years. abc, but my chinese ain't that hot. super high metabolism, though it's slowed down a lot recently. look young, feel old. while driving, the guy in your rearview mirror singing at the top of his lungs to himself. highly optimistic, except when it comes to girls. tend to only like the ones that wouldn't like me back. believe strongly in karma and the golden rule. agnostic. not interested in politics. tend to assume the best in people. oblivious to sarcasm and jokes. feel that life is too short; felt that way for as long as i can remember. if you're not happy where you are, do something about it. take the road less traveled. afraid of heights, speed, and the supernatural. wish i could fly like superman. left handed. obsessive compulsive. very neat. drink socially, but don't smoke or do drugs; i don't trust my willpower if i start. poor willpower, but strong ideals - which unfortunately can result in hypocrisy. pick things up quickly, but also quickly lose interest in things. bad at keeping in touch. lazy, but ambitious. overpowering conscience. can't cheat or tell lies at all. introspective. care too much about what other people think. shy and aloof with strangers. yet if i'm in a club and a song i like comes on, i will be the first one on the dance floor. want to be popular. want to be in a band, be in a movie, write a book, create a game, and more -- if only there was enough time to do it all! try to push people to reach their potential. nerd leader. want to be the nice guy that doesn't finish last.
