Thanks Sandy for the translation of the poem and the history of the Nahuatl language, I love to learn more about other cultures. To bridge a gap between our worlds.

hey Jaine, thanks for your lovely comments, this language is called Nahuatl, our  dialect most ancient of all , of the forbears,  in fact in Mexico exists 64 diferents dialects, heritage of our past cultures, in my state theres is an amazing indigenous town, they calls  their owns, the "Raramuris", in spanish means "Light feets" this is because they have an extraordinary physicall stronger condition because they lives in middle of the Copper Canyon, (a beautiful place as the big Canyon in EUA) in small huts in the middle of the saw, they practise as principle of life, the humildity and over all the love to God, in spite of the difficulties of the climate they live very happy, it is said that in winter the temperatures there go down to 20 degrees under zero, they shelter in the caves of the saw passing the winter silently pondering and being grateful for the good year that finishes, I admire them because they are a beautiful race with noble heart, but I would like to know  about your the forbears of your country, take care, huggssss

    that is so cool
what is the name of your indigenous language.

Te Reo Maori, the indigenous language of New Zealand is also an official language (with English and NZ sign language).  I learnt Maori long ago but have forgotten a lot.  My daughter is Maori and it is important to me to set a good example to her so I am learning it again.
