1st Anniversary Bonsai Lounge Party

To mark the opening of the Bonsai Lounge one year ago the owner organized a big party and we were invited personally to join as regular guests. So I sent an announcement to our asian community on Xing and some of them showed up. We met there pretty early because I met Muzi for another chinese lesson before and I wanted to get a seat and table there and take advantage of the happy hour. We all had some Banh Cuon (sorry, no pic D.Y.) which was really delicious. I tried it for the first time .  I also tried a virgin caipi (Ginger Ale, brown sugar and some lime pieces) which tasted pretty sour first, got sweeter later on and just blasted my upcoming cold away.

Later on the place got really crowded because another guy took this event as an opportunity to celebrate his birthday as well and a whole bunch of his friends showed up, also Samuel, a guy I know from our get togethers showed up. We all had a lot of fun and I joined him and some other vietnamese friends (also some relatives of my "special one") who showed up independently, after some my other friends left. So I switched seat several times .
The music was great. They played some tecno first but switched to hiphop later on. The only thing I did not like was the fog machine which they put into operation much to often...



It seems like the place established itself as a meeting point for all the asian youth in and around Frankfurt? At least that's the impression I got on this evening and the european (eurasian) guests you could with two hands ....

Oh, not to forget to mention I was reasonable to leave in time and catch the last train...
