November Rain

These words just came to my mind waiting for the train at the railway station to take me home. It was raining at temperatures slightly above zero and a chilly wind. At this weather you're just happy that you have a warm long coat, warm boots, an umbrella and some gloves, especially when the train was late like this time, though it's the next station after central station where he starts. Arriving at my home town it wasn't raining that hard anymore so I decided to ride the bike instead pushing it in one hand and in the other one holding the umbrella. On the way home I noticed that the the rain was mixed with snow, so it really seams to get winter...

You may wonder why I ride the bike in weather like this, but when you worked several seasons on a archaeological excavation site und used to ride the bike in almost every weather during university you get used to a lot of things. So I chose the faster way and preferred wet hair (I prefer a headband instead of a cap) and cold rain burning in the face instead of cold hands and stiff arms .
