So I've been in Taiwan for almost two months producing my best friend, Mr. Alan Kuo. Everything's smooth so far, and we're in the final stages of recording. We'll be completely finished at the end of March, but it won't be released until May. And I'm so proud of this album. It's hopefully gonna shock everyone in Taiwan. But if it turns out to be a complete flop, at least I can say that I put my heart into it.

The best part so far, has been when I flew out my favorite chicken head, Mr. Kevin Li, to play drums on 4 of the songs. That boy rocks so hard, it's not even funny. And he got along so perfectly with Alan and all of my taiwanese friends. But that's nothing special, he gets along with everyone.

I've been missing Hong Kong a lot though. Especially looking at all these pics I just uploaded. I can't wait to get back to my dirty factory building in To Kwa Wan. And I'm a bit sad that I'm not in HK while Soler is recording their new album. I put a lot of heart into their first album, and they've gotten so much better since I met them 3 years ago in Macau. I've heard some of their new stuff, and it's better than anything they've ever done. Every single song is a hit.

And I miss playing live. Producing alone in the studio is a lot lonelier than being onstage with your friends. But the money is better, so.. I can except the lonliness.

I spent the first night of chinese new years at my friend Mavis's home. Not only is she an incredible musician, but she's one of the nicest people I've ever met. Her whole family was so sweet.. They taught me how to play Taiwanese Mah Jong. I won a few times, made some money, then lost it all. It was awesome. Then her grandma started reading my palm, and all of a sudden she said "You should get a girlfriend", and I asked, "How do you know I don't have girlfriend now?" And she said, "Just look at yourself! Of course you don't have a girlfriend!" HAHAHA!! She meant it in the sweetest way. I love grandmas like that.

Oh, and one of my songs is being used for the theme song of 'Ghost Rider' in Taiwan. By a huge taiwanese boyband called 5566 (but they never promote in HK for some reason). The song's called "I'm on fire". It's fun to walk down the street and hear my song coming from the radio of some little cafe.

That's all I can think of..

    PEACE!

I guess it's hard to resist the money. Maybe with increasing salary you can make more trips back to hk =)
