    OK!  So I said in the about me section that I can cook.  Well here are a couple of examples of the few times you will see me cooking up something that takes longer to make than making a sandwich.  

    I would have shown you the whole Christmas meal, but folks was hungry and the meal was half way devoured before I realized I hadnt taken a picture!  At any rate, below is a pic. of some fried green tomatoes that I made as an appetizer before dinner. 

    I'm better at baking than anything else, so I'll show you the desserts I made for Christmas also.  Below is a German Chocolate Cake made with a chocolate liquer.  The other dessert is a sweet potato pie with brandy on a graham cracker crust.

     

    Both of these were good as h^*%.  I tried to give half of it away though, since I didnt want those sweets in the house with me!  Enjoy, and I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas, Hannakah, Eid, Kwanzaa, etc.

    i've never had fried green tomatoes but i've heard they're delish. what is that on the side?  a relish, sauce, chutney?
