Sorry people. This one will be short. Have to be up tomorrow to catch the 6am train to Dresden for the Christmas Market!
Today was the walking tour of the city. I took lots of pictures and it was absolutely beautiful. I was wearing a stylish white coat, my hair blowing in the wind and my red shaw blowing with it. Prague brings out the fab! Too bad no one saw my fab.
I wake in the morning, and I had breakfast. It was surprising given I felt a little queasy that morning. I guess wine and coke, cinnamon liqueur, pickled herring and dark chocolate almonds dont go together. I think it was the dark chocolate.
I decided to eat though because our walking tour of the city was going to be four hours....and it is generally believed among this group that I turn into a Demon queen with no food. I dont know what you people are talking about.
Breakfast in Prague was a bit unusual. I saw the usual - coffee, bread, yogurt. then i turned right and there were various breads with spreads on them. one with salami, one with egg salad, one with some meat like substance which look like spam and mayonnaise. eeewwww. not so good looking.
Then I got to the hot dishes of breakfast. There was sausage, eggs, and....... baked beans.
I tried baked beans for breakfast with green pepper, along with eggs and grain bread with butter. Who knew beans and eggs could be so good together! I was fit to walk the distance.
And a damn good thing. My experience of walking in Prague

they are mean and tell us sit in the smoke section next to this non descript man.
uuuhhhh, nope
go next door and we walk into 40s fabulousness. Dinner was opulent with
appetizer:potato cake covered in red caviar, with a dash of sour cream,
dinner: rack of lamb with spinach pie and
desert: cottage cheese boiled into a ball and covered in warm strawberries with a dash of sour cream. (it was weird but i decided to try it)
hot chocolate that was wonderfully rich and Italian water.
separate bills please?
here it is. we divided it in half for you.

they bring the tab and divided in half my section is 46$- 92$ total

we had water for dinner.
lmao. we were full anyway from lunch....so it was ok.
went to train to get a ticket

hmmmmm. there are people singing in the train station.
WHOA! There is a whole bunch of people singing and dancing in the train station. Oh my God....how cool is this?
Turns out its one of those musical presentations which have been popping up around Europe in train stations....looks all random and then BOOM! singing and dancing.
I love Prague
We catch the tram home.
it's snowing now and it makes the place even more magical! What shall we see and do tomorrow do you think?
