"Sneaker" Steve Patino, Global Entrepreneur - With a belief in individual transformation and helping people. Steve was raised in NYC and had the opportunity to travel the world with his passion for "What's Next" in Sneakers and Fashion, over the last 19 years in his industry. Patino, has merged together East Coast style with West Coast culture and now the World. His products, companies, inventions, licenses, stores and charities have gone from exclusive to mass markets like Barney's, Collette, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Atrium, GQ Magazine, Movie Award Red carpets, to malls across the world. His celebrities, musicians, and professional athlete clientele have given him and the brands he has worked with incredible visibility and exposure. Patino, thanks his mother for coming to to the United States and his education for allowing him the strength and tools for today. Patino, currently is the co-founder and Creative Executive Partner/President of Takeout Enterprises LLC. His vision is to be the next Latino, with a Richard Branson style company.

Patino's Background:
Steve Patino of Colombian Parents ( aka “Sneaker Steve”) In 1992, the NYC native launched his first company of premium European-produced apparel company called Gawsie with four partners – which was sold at stores like Fred Segal, Bloomingdales, Atrium and American Rag and worn by some of the most progressive celebrities and fashionistas. In the nine years as young teens to young adults they took Gawsie from $40 dollars and a dream to 3.5 Million in Sales. In 1994, He started his retail background at a local sneaker store in Elmhurst Queens and became known as Sneaker Steve for his thirteen years in the footwear industry (name tagged by recording artist N.O.R.E. as Sneaker Steve). Patino, was very proud to invest in a complete renovation and branding of the store as a gift back to his community in 2007. In addition to being a student of street culture, Steve was also a student in the classroom with major academic achievements. He graduated as Valedictorian of LaGuardia College and gave his speech to a crowd of tears and laughter of 5,000 people in Madison Square Garden. During the two years at La Guardia Community College he graduated with honors (Phi Theta Kappa) and as Public Relations Governor of the school. Patino was selected with and given the Outstanding Young Men of America award. He was also honored to be a part of the mach Senate program as a Senator of New York for the day. While at LaGuardia, Patino interned at Columbia Records and St Judes Children's Hospital as well a taught E.S.L. and career development. Patino, was very fortunate to be a part of a very prestigious transfer program as the top 1% of NYC students to Vassar College, one of the top Colleges in America for one semester. Patino, then moved on to graduate to his dream school, New York University ( NYU ). Patino, Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communications and Minor at Stern School of Business under the Entrepreneurship department. In the year 2000 his team created a design and consulting company called 20/20 located in NYC's very hip and chic -Meat Packing District. 20/20 worked with top design firms and fortune 500 companies on creative solutions and new business development. 20/20 was very accomplished and relaunched the retro jacket company (MEMBERS ONLY) an iconic brand from the 80's working and rebranding the entire company working with the President on global sales distribution, marketing and design for the company. Patino, was also responsible for creating the deal over the course of two years, between the Action Sports company DC Shoes ( Quicksilver ) and headwear company New Era to partner ; now a multi million dollar business unit. Patino, later on was recruited by the Senior Vice President of DC Shoes to hold the first hybrid position in DC history as Global Director of Special Projects and Director of Sales of the Lifestyle division domestically for DC Shoes. Patino, was able to be a part of massive action sports cross over market and was able to be a part of growth in the four years from $140 Million to over $500 Million in estimated in sales. Patino, has freelanced and worked as celebrity stylist, writer, fashion editor, talent scout for media networks and print publications such as - MTV3, BET, MTV, Kicksklusive Magazine, Weiden and Kennedy ,Urban Latino Magazine and Bridgez Magazine. Patino is pleased to say that he delivered on his dream of creating his first scholarship (the NYC thinking cap scholarship) in 2008. A percentage of the proceeds went to Sweat Equity a Mark Ecko Nationwide Foundation that assists high school teens create to develop real life products for major companies such as Scion, Nissan, Sketchers, Timex to sell at retail. Patino currently resides in Los Angeles, as Preisdent of Takeout Enterprises LLC ( Fashion, Sports, Entertainment) where he practices smiling and appreciating life everyday.
