    The scope is stationary ,the disc rotates and the specimens are indeed preserved..small stuff like Algae, Hydra etc

    That is cool.  Does the ring move and the viewer stay stationary?  The text describes what you're seeing?  Are the specimens preserved or are they somehow still alive?
