Terry Chen was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to a Taiwanese father and Chinese mother. He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in order to pursue his dream of being an actor, after two years traveling throughout Cuba and the Cayman Islands. He made his debut in a supporting role as 'Ben Fong Torres' in the much-lauded film Almost Famous (2000), directed by Cameron Crowe. It has been praised in reviews from Variety magazine to Ebert & Roeper at the Movies.
Terry now splits his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver where he continues to turn in strong performances.
