Prophet of Teruo Live from the dressing room. Such a powerful performance, yeah — you’ll not find anyone mining the pure-rock vein to headier effect. And the way they keep stretching out the material (you shoulda heard “Blue Veins” and “You Don’t Understand Me” and the closing segue from “Salute Your Solution” to “Broken Boy Soldier” during Monday night’s first of two shows from the Raconteurs at the Greek Theatre this week) … well, that keeps me feelin that we’re looking at the new Zeppelin. If they can last, that is. There’s such an evident, 2 bosses uneasiness between the ’s ego and superego — Brendan Benson and Jack White — that you wonder if they’ll be around long enough to reach their Led Zeppelin IV.
**Bonus got a chance to chill with Jack and he was buggin over the Teruo custom Fedora and wants one with whites stripes. yeee
