Victor--it may be comedy, but at who's expense?  It is possible do really raunchy comedy, and it can be funny and edgy, but you always make yourself the butt of the joke in the end.  That's what I see comics like Lisa Lampanelli doing.  That is one way out there bitch, and she'll take on everyone, but most of all herself.  When's she's done, everyone's been cut off at the knees and made fun of in a delightfully vulgar way, but its funny more than its offensive because she's part of the joke, too (and she can laugh at herself).
