actually, these examples are some that have cropped over years. that said, i think they get a lot of good submissions b/c often films that get into sundance also get into slamdance and they're only allowed to screen at one. in contrast, there are films that get into sundance that don't get into slamdance b/c they do have their own defining aesthetic :) which you can kind of get a sense of by looking at these examples.
