"Sophie's Revenge" to be Released in August

"Sophie's Revenge", a romantic comedy from the first-time producer Zhang Ziyi, will open on August 14 in Chinese cinemas. A five-minute teaser trailer of the movie was released at a press conference Sunday in Shanghai. "Sophie's Revenge" is also Zhang Zi's first comedy as an actress. "We have a good script, and a strong cast and crew," said Zhang Ziyi, claiming she has confidence the 5-million-yuan budget film will reap strong box office takings.
