The history:
Feeling the void for proper skateboard hard goods and high-end street fashion in Hong Kong, Julius Brian Siswojo opened 8FIVE2SHOP in 1999 first as a distribution company and later as a shop for the public. Through this, Brian was able to introduce many internationally popular brands for the first time to Hong Kong.
Known for it’s authenticity, clean image, and it’s great location in the heart of Hong Kong’s shopping area, 8FIVE2SHOP quickly gained popularity not only among the local media but, worldwide.
Many of the top skateboarders have passed through this shop such as Eric Koston, Tim O’Connor, Brian Wenning, Stefan Janoski, Pat Duffy, Jamie Thomas, and many famous street artists such as Haze, Futura, José Parlá, Rostarr, Pushead, etc…
8FIVE2SHOP continues to be mentioned in worldwide media such as Evilmonito.com, Skateboarder Magazine, Skateboard Mag, 411 video magazine, Lodown magazine, Complex, Sneaker Freaker, Streetwear International, Street Jack (Japan), Ollie (Japan), etc…

The founder: Julius Brian Siswojo started skateboarding in 1988 and since then, it’s been an integral part of his lifestyle in Hong Kong. His influence has spread the growth of skateboarding through extensive media exposure, and through various skateboard related events. As the chairman of the ‘All Hong Kong Skateboards Associations’ and one of the founders of ‘Hong Kong Federation of Extreme sports,’ he continues to promote Skateboarding and Street fashion lifestyle.
