Andrew Lau Ready to Tackle the Small Screen

Hong Kong director Andrew Lau,  best known for 2002's hit 'Infernal Affairs'  is ready to tackle the small screen.  In a recent interview he said he wants to try his hand with direct a television mini-series for a change.  He cites the time constraints on screen time in the movies as one of his motivating factors.  His first foray into television will be 'A Bi Jian', based on a Chinese comic book.  In March it was originally announced that this project was going to be a film starring Jay Chou and Korean superstar Juen Ji Hyun, but that appears have changed.
