Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" sets Mainland Release Date

Ang Lee's latest film will premiere this week at the Venice Film Festival. "Lust, Caution" is an erotic espionage thriller set during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai. The Mainland China theater release date has now been set for September 26th. Recently the US MPAA has given the film an 'NC-17' (adults only) rating, no word on what version will be screened in China, which is well known to require film makers to cut scenes that are deemed politically sensitive, super natural or overly sexual.
