Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan Take Big Bite of Rush Hour 3 Profits

One of the surprising points about Rush Hour 2 was the fact that star Chris Tucker earned a US$20 million salary.  That was $5 million more than International star Jackie Chan.  Well its now five years later,  Tucker has not done another movie since.  But apparently New Line is desperate enough to continue the trilogy (Rush Hour 2 made approximately $350 million worldwide),  so they agreed to give Tucker $20 million or 20% of the box office profits...  an unprecedented amount ,  especially for someone who has only done three movies in the past nine years.  Jackie's fans can relax,  it is reported that Jackie's salary matches Tucker's this time around.
