Feng Xiaogang: Don't hate on the Blockbuster!

Mainland Chinese director Feng Xiaogang visited Fudan University in Shanghai to promote his new film 'Assembly' along with two leads from the film.  But during the question and answer session with the students Feng faced tough questions about the effect blockbuster films have on smaller films in the Chinese market.  Feng defended blockbuster films and pointed to the success of foreign countries which have been able to overcome the situation and expand the overall market.
