Jay Chou Doesn't Overreach, Delivers with 'Secret'

Jay Chou's directorial debut, titled 'Secret' opened this week in Hong Kong and has received positive reviews.  Critics note that while the story of secondary school puppy-love (set in the high school for musically talented that Chou actually attended) is by no means epic,  it does deliver.  Chou's film was helped by cinematographer Lee Pin-Bing,  best known for his work with Taiwanese New Wave director Hou Hsiao-hsien.  Chou also acts in and provides the soundtrack for the film.
