Jay Chou enters idol drama field

Jay Chou has a big surprise for the new year – he will enter the idol drama field! Jay will collaborate with mainland China to self-produce, direct, act and film a new science-fiction idol drama ‘Panda Hero’, and the main leads will be Nan Quan Ma Ma, whom he has brought up by himself. According to sources, ‘Panda Hero’ will have 20 episodes and will combine magic and technology together. To support his own ‘family’, besides Nan Quan Ma Ma being the main leads, Jay himself will serve as producer, as well as act a small role.
