Beloved Hong Kong TV and film actress Lydia Shum, who is recovering from cancer treatment, made a personal appearence at the TVB Anniversary Awards event last night to personally accept a Special Achievement Award from TVB Vice President Norman Leung. Shum was brought on stage in a wheelchair but gave a moving speech about her recovering, she is quoted as saying "I will not let go easily of my career in television that I love. Thank you."
