Two More Big Budget Korean Disaster Pics Planned to Follow 'D-War' and 'The Host'

 Following on the success of big budget FX laden films 'Dragon Wars' (aka 'D-war') and 'The Host',  two more South Korean films are being planned with plenty of CG destruction.  In a joint venture between Korea's Doosabu Film and the US's Polygon Entertainment both a monster film and a 'convential' disaster flick are both in the works.

The monster film has not yet started production, but will take place on an offshore oil rig that is attacked by a sea monster.  The disaster film is titled 'Haeundae' and will be about a tsunami that strikes the southern coast of South Korea, home of the Pusan International Film Festival.  It is reported that popular actress Ha Ji-won is attached the project, which will be directed by Doosabu Film's Yoon Je-gyun.

Polygoon will oversea the FX on both films.
