I felt extremely outraged when I read news about some guys spraying acid at Afghan school girls just because of extremism and religion.

Under Taleban rule between 1996 and 2001, girls were barred from going to school. Since they were outcasted, many teachers and students had been attacked/killed in incidents blamed on extremists.

Under the rule of an ultra-orthodox Islamic Taleba-movement, Afghanistan is probably the most backward nation in the world, especially on the issue on equality of the sexes. Taleban government denies even the most basic rights from the women and one of those rights is Education.

Sometimes I wonder why certain people's minds are so warpped....And incidents like these made me question Humanity and not forgetting ,Religion. Humans are such complex and prideful animals. Religion on the other hand is simply man-made. Why must some people make it so complex?? Isnt Religion is all about loving human mankind and believing in Goodness?

Humans are capable of loving while some are simply fucking evil. Some people just want to play God.....

isnt it wierd, i believe most religion preach understanding and tolerance and yet! thats the first thing they do when someone isnt like them. Most people would use religion as an excuse rather than be up front rather than admitting that they just cant deal with differences.

Well said MsScarlett!! People need to wake up...(i hope) so that the world will be a better place to live in. Hence the need for armageddon to filter out nasty people?? then again, with good people, there will be bad ones around as well.....the ying/the yang, the positive/the negative...the balance of life.

Religion is about dedicating yourself to a set of beliefs. Sadly here are religions that preach and endorse hate, abuse and worse. By definition, a cult is a religion. By nature, people are willing sheep looking for direction.

Even within Christianity, there are different denominations that don't agree on everything.

You nailed it, Alvin. People do make things too complex. It's actually quite simple: You have a Maker. He loves you just the way you are and you can't change that. He made you alone for a special purpose. Do it. Do what you were made for, and you will know joy.
