• couch potato in Taiwan

  Taipei has 100+ TV Channels. You can literally be a couch potato and watch TV whole day long. Taiwan has tons of variety shows. In recent years, you see a lot of stylists. hairstylists, make-up artists appearing as guest on variety shows and giving tips on all the "how to's".
  
  I was watching with my jaws wide open as this particular superstar stylist was teaching on the guest how to mix and match and how to dress like a star. The end results - S C A R Y !!
  
  I been in taiwan so many times and i never seen anyone who has a sense of style/fashion. NO ONE. I am not trying to criticise the taiwanese but I think its very bewildering how they define "fashion/style". I just dun understand.....
  
  Nevertheless, I always have a good time sitting in front of the TV and watching the funny variety shows. Taiwanese loves to joke and have a good laugh! I particularly LOVE LOVE LOVE "KAN XI LAI LE(康熙来了). "Small S" is soooooo funny and right in your face. She just say things right in your face, no mercy, no pretence. I like that.
