Yesterday was Dec. 12. It's my E's birthday, my birthday (my E. is 4 yrs. older than me), and our 10th anniversary (we got married in Reno, U.S.A. in 1997).
We brought Amelie to Ocean Park, HK yesterday, cos my friend told me they offered free admission to any birthday HK citizen. My E. has worked in HK for 3 yrs., so he still has the HK I.D., and Amelie can get free admission as well (too short). So we went to Ocean Park without paying a penny (ususally the ticket is HK$200+/ adult)
. Lucky day!
Amelie was so happy the whole day, seeing the dolphins, panda, sea jelly, sharks, fishes.........it's her birthday instead of ours, she's the happy one!
Everyone wished us happy birthday when we passed the customs(SZ-HK), the Ocean Park entrance. Everyone was amused
that my E. and I have the same birthday; 10 years ago, when we got registered in Reno, the officer was so surprised
as well when she found out it was our birthday and we chose to marry on the same day!
So how we met? My E. and I met when we have dinner with my ex.ex.ex.boss, he's a friend of her. I was interested in him
when I found out he was studied in Osaka, Japan; at that time, I was learning Japanese as well, and plan to save some money to study in Japan. So we talked a lot during the dinner, and afterwards, he drove me home, and we have a drink. And of course we talked again,
and asking when each other's birthday is, we were surprised we got the same birthday
, I didn't believe it at first until he showed me his I.D. card. And that's how we started. 6 months later, we got engaged, and then I was sent to San Jose, USA by the company. I stayed there for 3 months, and then he quited his job and went to San Jose to stay with me for another 3 months. That's why we got married in Reno.
Here're some pics fm. yesterday - Ocean Park
