    Happy National Day!

    Anyway, did some shopping recently. Got myself a new pair of Vans! Latest in town from LEFTFOOT. The LEFTFOOT guys are great, Anthony, Kevin. They are always so friendly whenever we go down to the store. I don't go down that often as compared to my pals Eric and JJ but they are always still so friendly. Pictures of the shoe:







    Got myself a Paul Frank iphone case from the apple online store too My previous case was really thrashed. It just kept peeling off. Guys, if u have an iphone, don't ever get the "air jacket" case. The back part of the case just keeps peeling. I guess it's just not made for our humid weather here, always so hot. It sort of melted away and starts peeling.



    Gonna go practice my piano and guitar. Haven't done this for a long long time, fixing up my pedals, effects, etc. Makes me feel like i'm back to my secondary school days haha... but please, no pledge thingy though...

    With regards to Sn0wy's comment.
    I think this year's ND 8:22 special moment was meaningful!
    I attended NDP almost every year, i'll be touched to tears everytime i saw Apaches flew our state flag across the parade and all sang National Anthem together.
    We've progressing day by day, from a small red dot into a Shinny Ruby! I'm proud of my own country!
    You said parade was boring, but don't forget the effort  performers and organisers chip in for months! The same applies to your music carrer, you'll feel sense of achievement, hard work being recognised when you composed a good piece of music, don't you?
    Suggest you attend the NDP and experience the atmosphere, the joy, the passion of it! You could really feel that everyone's heart is join as one when thousands of audience sang the ND songs together! You won't feel the same again......
    Anyway, happy belated birthday!

    I agree with snowy. I was quite touched by the pledge moment. The theme of NDP this year was very good, making people reflect on the pledege. To mean what u say and say what u mean.

    i can totally understand. especially the ALP part and building of the stadium (i was combat engineers). think i forgot about 8.22pm i was on the train lol. but i stole some glimpse of it last night and it seems like they are 'mobilizing' because the parade was 'attacked by terrorist' and a few bomb was planted around the floating platform etc.  anyway nice shoes! happy national day bro

    I never even watch NDP for a long time. Because my family also don't really watch NDP. Always the same things and this year got chen wei lian to sing in NDP. JY 加油. And confirm no pledge thingy for u. I like the shoes very nice. C ya.

    i really liked your voice and everything since project superstar... have been checking out your blogs and forum since then and it's not very me to comment on them cuz i prefer to keep my comments to myself... but somehow i got quite affected by what you say in your blog... what's wrong with saying the pledge? are you ashamed to be saying the pledge as a singaporean? for me peronally it's a proud moment when i say the pleddge or sing the anthem... and i think it's kinda hurtful to the performers when you said that the parade is boring... yes... the marching part is kinda the same every year... but the other parts of the parade are not the same EVERY year... even if you are just referring to the marching part... it's just once in a year... just treat is as a tradition or something? i am kinda disappointed with your comments on NDP... perhaps you are not even proud of being a singaporean...
