  Hi people, haven't been back for some time. Have been overwhelmed by work and trying to sleep as much as possible haha.. need to catch up on my sleep. Just had a swim today and swam 20laps non stop, cool, not bad for not exercising for some time haha..
  
  Anyway ever since MJ's demise, i took out his records and started listening again. Not only did it just plainly relive those memories when i heard those songs for the very first time when i was in primary school because my dad was a big fan of him and kept playing his songs, plus the beatles, bee gees, carpenters, etc, most importantly having the privilege to be a musician working in the industry myself, i came to the conclusion that his music is definitely everlasting, forever! This is a legend that one will never surpass, for a long long time...
  
  I'm going into the details of music now, as i was listening because his choice of beats, sounds, arrangement, mixing, and singing was indeed very superb and awesome for his generation. He's almost never out of tune in his recordings, in fact none i think, and the quality is what even the chinese industry today can't do at all. He did stuff that would not even sound 'old' or 'out-of-date' even till today. The groove and musicality of his stuff is really awesome. I think it's time that i relook the history of pop music again and relive the history myself by reading and understanding them, appreciating them. It's very essential for a musician who wants to create music because we didn't live through that era where such great musicians create such superb music.
  
  Busy day tomorrow, long and hectic, nothing unusual. Hope everyone has a good week ahead too. I had so much reactions and feelings in me with regards to all that has happened these few days with all the media and news on Michael Jackson. I think it's time i need to settle down, consolidate them, write a new touching song once again, a song that touches many hearts out there...
