Lets meet people and why was I a losing pitcher

it pretty cool to meet new people and when I mean meeting people I mean to say at least talked to them, shoot the proverbial shit and chuckled at something. and a good list of people it was. I finally met Ana R, well sort of, rather I met her iphone, the phone and I instantly feel in love but she was too expensive and she didn't have enough buttons. And I'm talking about the phone not Ana R. I mean I guess we sort of talked, when she saw me walking away with her phone, she did in fact yell at me and sent the bouncers on me. that's considered talking, right? (actually that didn't happen, but I play with her iphone. And its real.)

then I missed the opportunity to meet Lisa S. for as long as I've known the AnD crew and Dan, I've never actually met her. And if you didn't know this, she's like, you know, tall.

the day was a long one anyway - me, pat (aka p-lee, or patick-fish), stephan (swang), colonel dax (dax phelan), triangle (boon), raffs (raffi. sorry haven't tagged raffi with a nickname yet, its just a matter of time), byron mann and whole bunch other people hijacked a yacht and took it for a day of sun bathing, swimming and drinking. I usually feel okay after these trips, but yesterday I was cooked, well done. I thought okay, hang for a while go home. so after dinner we headed for drinks. sat down saw everyone above and couple others - andrew, amanda, bobby shih, kb, james, rosie wong from 2R (i'll get back to her later), and couple other. marina showed up with a friend of hers, which I've seen before but I haven't met (and I must admit I'm not one who remember someone well until I've actually talked to them). so to make a long story short, marina took off, and left her friend. so I started talking to her, fair enough. now I started to think there was something wrong with me, and thats the second time I've had this feeling in so many months (the first time recorded experience is my entry, 'just don't get hit in the face') because I wasn't able to break any ice with her. I'm usually a rowdy guy, but this time as much as I wanted to talk the talk, I totally felt defeated. DEFEATED. after she left though, I was like ok, I've got to talk to somebody else. so I started talking to bob's friend, and no it wasn't me. then I started talking to rosie (and by the way, you're very nice rosie and I hope everything turns out for the stuff you're working on. she so cool!)

so what was wrong? could anyone give me an honest answer? marina? I''m really sorry but I couldn't entertain. I was losing pitcher last night. but that's cool. you've got to lose sometime. maybe its something to do with not working for a while, I don't know. but at the end, besides the little bump in the road, I had a great day. here's some proof.....
