  • Slow-mo Explosions...with skateboards!

    Hey people,

    I've always been a fan of explosions and slow-mo. Apparently Wes Anderson, one of my all time favorite directors uses tons of slow-mo. I love those tracking shots.

    More to the point, I, on my web surfing have found something worth watching for all you video gluttons. Just one note before you watch it - I wonder if anyone got hurt cause it sure looks like it.

    This is the opening from Lakai's Fully Flared.  The first skater is Eric Koston.  He was here last year with the Girl team and they killed it.  Great clip man!

    Hey Tobin, this video was also directed by Spike Jonez, so no wonder you made the connection. By the way, does anyone else think these explosions don't look like they were done under the most controlled circumstances? I'm surprised no one got hurt really, really bad judging by some of the bails. Exploding concrete getting in my eyes? No thanks!

    Awesome!  Reminds me of that Spike Jonze video of the guy running in slo-mo in flames.
