Just finished the show @ Yo Park last night. We had a fun time playing there. We were supposed to play earlier, but the show was delayed so we got on very late.
We banged out the first few songs effortlessly, and the songs were well received by the crowd. But, by the last song my voice was beginning to disappear and I had lost all momentum. I was really exhausted. It is evident that I haven't fully recovered from being sick... and I am still not fit enough.
So, I guess that means that I have to go and do some exercise today.
I know I can do better and I have the chance to prove it tonight. I feel like last night was just a warm-up for the LKF Beer Festival. We will play a short set of 15mins starting at 8pm on a stage constructed opposite the California bar. It will be short but sweet. I really hope we can see you there!
Did I hear a little birdy saying that we might be playing at BACKSTAGE tomorrow night (Sun 25th) for another benefit? I think the guys will be playing with MEG and then we will come on after her at 7.30pm. You should really come and see MEG because she has a wonderful voice and has the best backing band going around, FBI minus me.
