  ‘Small acts of Vandalism’ This series of work is in response to the rise and fame of various street artists becoming exhibitors in the art world. By placing my vandalism on a canvas and then installing it in to a public domain I am questioning the notions of - what constitutes vandalism?

  This series entitled ‘The Nan Collection’ deals with the concepts of family and the priorities of life in the city. I have been creating work focusing on different women in my life, my own grandmas and a homeless old lady who often sleeps in my stairwell. The juxtaposition of old ladies in two very different situations questions the notion of values that people have and asks the question – what fundamentally is really important?
