LIFE & OUR QUIRKS: Its funny how we create these rules/quirks in life but most people don’t know our own little quirks. I used to be extremely vested on people not saying “thank you” yet its just my big thing about people and I call it rude. Its not just a “thank you” but I was expecting a phone call, a text, or a facebook message or a smile.” But that’s giving with a condition/obligation. That’s not true giving. Maybe a ‘nod’ would just be adequate for another person. Or another might be expecting a gift in return. They don’t know our quirks. Then big picture thinking: why would we want to negatively change our emotional state over ‘two words.” Emotions come from within so we gotta stop looking for it in the exterior world. Before you get upset or WHEN you get upset, we just have to remember that we have our own little quirks and other people have their own set of quirks. ♥
