can it work to stay in a relationship with someone who has cheated on you?
STAY...
Trust can be rebuilt, many relationships work much better after some affairs because uptil then, the couple wasn't dealing with their real issue..
avoid blame....at one point, you should stop labeling your partner as a bad guy/girl. Instead of dwelling on the incident, look into what precipitated the affair.
set the conditions for continuing.....the best thing a cheater can do is give his/her partner as much access as needed. He has to be open to discuss the situation as much as the betrayed party needs.
lessen your focus on "the other woman/man"........it only lowers your sense of self and gives power to the duo involved in the affair, if it did take place. The focus should be on the two of you. YOU and HE/SHE are the twosome.
OR GO......
you can choose to get out of troubled, potentially life-wrecking relationship.
ask yourself....." is this really the person I want to be in a relationship with?" spend some time alone or with friends and see if you're happier being by yourself.
examine.....whether winning this person back is even woth it. cheating and infidelity are "warning signs" of things to come.
don't tolerate.....if you are in a relationship with a man/woman who cannot bear to treat you well, then graciously walk away. don't try to fix a man/woman .
see the signs......if your partner cannot even see what it is about him/her that makes you want to get out, it's time to get out. if it never was very good, it'll never be very good.
well, for me, i'll choose to leave graciously and walk away. if he really do love me, he'll tell me anything and atleast he can put some honesty. I can forgive, but I just can't go back on the good times and give it a brand new start. so, how about you guys, should you stay or should you go?
