in need of some inspiration

i don't know what's wrong with me lately but I have so little motivation. i put off errands way longer than i should, I rarely look forward to waking up, and i find my attention span getting shorter and shorter. so here's a throw-up of thoughts:

it's almost septemeber and i didn't make it to beach once this summer... bummer, will have to go twice next summer to make up for it

i like the olympics, i hope i don't have withdrawl after tonight

i'm laying on a sheet on the grass in the front yard, typing on the laptop. the sun on the back at 6pm feels pretty perfect. there's an ant crawling on my screen as we speak, how cute :)

when did my brain switch to day by day thoughts vs. week by week goals? things seem to blur together all the time now...

on a happier note, chump starts school tomorrow. he's going to be a senior in high school :) in the next few months he's going to be swamped with lots of college application essay writing. i can still picture the photo of him holding a Challenger School tote bag, wearing a baby yellow pollo shirt and dark blue shorts on his very first day of school 12 years ago. we took pictures at the front door and he was playfullying wearing the parent's shoes. his face was rounder back then, i should put the photo in his senior ad...
