cynthia found this article which is incredibly long but really, really good. it's one of those articles where you have to read each and every line though (no speed reading). The article won a Pulitzer Prize yesterday and talks of an experiment where the Washington Post took a world famous musician (Joshua Bell) and had him play violin at a train station, pretending to be a normal, everyday street musician:
