summer weekends

this weather makes me want to take nap after nap after nap.

what an enjoyable weekend. saw lots of old friends at ambert's bbq and danced like I was in college again. Made a champagne fountain structure that worked! And ate myself silly with cherries and strawberry deliciousness. This morning woke up to go to perhaps the last graduation where I know anyone graduating. Oprah was the commencement speaker, i have so much respect for that girl. so so very much. Andy took a photo of me where you can vaguely see her in the background :) I'll post it later. After graduation, skidaddled over to GRX barbeque and then after that home for a nap. in an hour or so I'll wake parents up from their nap to go to father's day dinner and bowling. I love celebrating people, so very important to me

random thoughts:

-still debating whether or not I can fit in a trip to hk/taiwan in August

-my grandma visits in 1.5 weeks for a whole month!!

-conrad looks so much older now

-cynthia visited last week! It was a drawgroup reunion except jennifer couldn't make it down from the city.

-I've been wearing glasses for a week now due to an eye infection from a scratched cornea. I wonder if I act differently when I wear them, I think they make me look a little smarter
