It's true.. And we recently finished this full branding exercise for them - including all graphics, ID, collateral, web, interior, uniforms, hardware... And the food is awesome too - Canto style cafe but using fresh, local and organic products. Check it out at www.canto-pop.com

We just learned that a book we designed and art directed - Asian Palate - won the International Association of Culinary Professionals Cookbook Awards (formerly known as the Julia Child awards) for best book in the Wine/Beer/Spirits category. The book was chosen out of more than 500 titles in 17 categories. It also won the 2009 Gourmand World Cookbook Award for “Best Book on Matching Food and Wine in the World” against nearly 6,000 other books from 136 countries. It was also shortlisted as one of four books considered for the UK’s André Simon Award. We like it when that happens.

CS Dragon Boat Team....

Congrats to the ChinaStylus / Reddog Studio 2011 Dragon Boat Team 2011... Not only did we beat more than 12 teams throughout the day, we also had the best looking crew and support boats on the water. And more importantly, we raised a whole load of money for Nepal's Moonlight Foundation. More pix to follow...

We specialise in good old-fashioned print media – designing and art directing magazines, books, advertising, posters, identity – but being small means we’re also flexible and will have a crack at pretty much anything if it tickles our fancy – web, interiors, events, products…

Our distinctive style has given the studio a solid reputation as one of the region’s most influential and talked about design studios – and for that we are very grateful. Our simple philosophy is one of CREATIVITY vs COMMERCE – believing that a balance can always be reached, no matter what the project may be… It can be creative AND commercial…

We’ve appeared in loads of magazines across the region – including West East, IdN, Communication Arts, iSH, Juice, Milk, Taxi, SCMP and also TV features on ATV, TVB, Reuters and several online shows. Founder and Creative Director, Jay FC, was awarded “40 under 40” by Perspective Magazine – given to the “40 most outstanding young designers in Greater China”.
