Haha I wonder how they've survived Thanksgiving...
I live in Arcadia, California, where we have flocks of peacocks crusing around on the street! They are so gorgeous but also so noisy!

Ah, yes...the wild turkeys of San Fran!  I'm surprised Animal Planet hasn't done a show on those gobblers!

Hey hey.. a turkey! In M'sia, we usually shout BOTAK at the turkey whenever we see one, and in reply the turkey will start making the gobbling sounds! (FYI, BOTAK means BALD in Malay)

The gobbling would drive me crazy. We used to have two chickens in our backyard and my a couple of my neighbors have ducks.

Birds everywhere!  In Arcadia, LA my friends complained about having many peacocks in the estate and I thought what a lovely sight that must be.  Apparently, the peacocks' favourite pastime do not go well with the neighbourhood.  They scratch cars!

I guess having turkeys around must be quite harmless and give a "village" feel to everything.  So relaxing!

Ha~ Not the average thing you see. Just a wild turkey hanging on the streets. They may have been pretty but they would have frightened me!

Haha ... I was in a car with my cousin one afternoon coming back from a softball game. Low and behold a wild turkey darted across the street. I was like, OH SH*T ... a TURKEY!!! It was amazing ... too bad I didn't have quick hands to grab my camera out.

Ha, that's so random. That's cool that you don't mind their gobbling and find them annoying.

Man...do they even have turkey around Thanksgiving? It must be so lonely around then...well, you're probably used to it by now, but I'd get so homesick if I couldn't even whip up my own Thanksgiving meal in HK.
