Hi Everyone! I'm Dan. I was born and raised in Chicago IL in the USA. In 2002, I went over to Kyoto Japan and lived as an exchange student during the summer. In 2005, I moved to the Tin Shui Wai area of Hong Kong. I was opening up a cafe and starting a clothing company there. I also worked as an english teacher and also tutored people in Japanese.
I came back to the USA to write and publish a book. It is called Homeless in Hong Kong and is a true life story about events that happened between me and my best friend and also my ex-fiancee from the UK. I don't have a release date for it yet. I also work in movies and TV. I started out as an extra playing four roles in this summer's The Dark Knight. I played a cop named Sgt. Andy Spellman, a bomb squad member, and a hospital patient named Alex Lee. Sad to say most of my scenes did not make into the film, but few did.
I also spent 5 weeks of my summer filming a movie with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale and it is directed by Michael Mann. It comes out 07/2009. I had many different roles in it. My other movie work includes Eagle Eye, the Informant, and next summer's Public Enemies. My TV work includes CSI:NY, Leverage, and the Beast. My commercial/ ad work includes various spots for WWE wrestling.
I hope to move back to HK and work on film there or also in Japan because I am such a big fan of both of their TV & movies. I also am hoping to adapt my book into film medium after its publication.
