    The thing bout travelling is that it takes forever to get somewhere... I read my economist on the plane instead of my mythology book... Happy to see that Iraq is getting better but sucks about Ethiopia's latest famine. Interesting piece on inter-faith religion as well. Love the special reports. And the McDonald's index. On a lighter note have decided that I am totally over post-80s synth electro bands, that the remix is usually better than the original in an age of over commercialized and derivative music... Oh- Y's is with shine in beijing??? Hm.
    Have made it to sanlitun in under 40 mins (amazing during rush hour) and am keeping my fingers crossed about the last chunk home.
    Its gray, gray, gray here... But better than torrential rain and floods. Did MIA really retire btw?? Too bad she is awesome...
