For my first-ever blog entry, I thought I'd do something a little different...

Instead of posting pictures of myself, I thought I'd post pictures of...my butt. You see -- it was recently pointed out to me that I wear my pants too high, resulting in exposure of my "apple bottoms". Seeing as songs (one very popular one in particular) have been written on the subject, I figured this kind of "exposure" couldn't be such a bad thing.

Apparently, it is. Perhaps it's because my apple bottoms are not formed perfectly like a Washington State Red Delicious. Or perhaps it's because I don't know how to shake that thang. In any case, I now wear my pants lower, thereby depriving the world of my apple bottoms and the crack separating them.

It's nice to be part of the AnD community. I look forward to meeting many of you.

Desmond (蘇頌輝) is a host of TVB Pearl's lifestyle and luxury-living show Dolce Vita. He is also an English and Cantonese speaking events and show emcee.

Desmond now stands in front of the camera after having worked behind it for three years at ABC, Inc. in New York. There, he worked on shows such as The View, The Bachelor, All My Children, and Miss America. While living in New York, Desmond was also involved with Second Generation, a non-profit theater company devoted to bringing Asian American stories to the world's stage.

In addition to his TV and emcee work, Desmond is also an etiquette consultant who helps individuals and companies build confidence through the practice of etiquette (www.njtrf.com). A die-hard fan of those who are polite and well-mannered, he believes that you can never say "please" and "thank you" too many times.

A native of Hong Kong who has been away most of his life, Desmond is glad to be back and part of the 'alive not dead' community.
