FW’10 Artist Edition Capsule Collection

“As a child growing up in Hong Kong’s famous overcrowded estate buildings, Prodip Leung often spent many nights playing outside with his friends. On one ordinary yet fateful night in 198X, he witnessed something unexplainable that would forever change his life. From that day on, he knew that the truth was out there and that we were not alone.”

55DSL has always championed the experimental and unusual; the weirder the better! From UFOs, colorful monsters to strange creatures from other planets, the odd and bizarre can be found scattered all over our graphics from past collections.

We are proud to announce a special artist edition capsule collection with Hong Kong based creative studio, PROJECT AFTER DARK; the brainchild of Prodip Leung, who is an accomplished graphic artist, musician and UFO researcher.

The 55DSL x PROJECT AFTER DARK capsule collection is a unique design collaboration consisting of 11 styles offered in limited edition, such as a varsity jacket, chambray button down shirt, assorted graphic tees, and hooded sweats with special 55DSL details. If Monster Moshpits and Screaming Wolf boy don’t make you a true believer, we don’t know what will!

*This collection is developed in cooperation with creative agency, Fantastic Matter, led by partners Dan Pak and Peter Chung.

The 55DSL x PROJECT AFTER DARK capsule collection will be available from November 2010 exclusively at the 55DSL store in Langham Place. Products will be periodically released from November to December 2010.

「在香港擠逼的屋邨長大， Prodip Leung童年時常與好友夜出玩耍。198X年一個平凡晚上，奇怪的事發生了，他目睹一些難以解釋的現象，改變了他的一生。自此，他知道真相就在那兒，而且世上並不只有人類。」

55DSL一直支持實驗性創作，鼓勵不平凡的嘗試，愈是奇特，愈是喜歡！由UFO、各種怪物以至外星生物，一切怪誔事物都是我們服裝的靈感，也能幻化成琳琅滿目的精彩圖像。

今個季節，我們特別與香港的創作室PROJECT AFTER DARK合作，隆重推出藝術家版別注系列。該創作室就是由著名的圖像藝術家、音樂人以及UFO研究者Prodip Leung成立。

55DSL x PROJECT AFTER DARK 別注系列展現獨特設計意念，合共11款造型，限量發售。作品包括棒球夾克、條紋布鈕扣襯衣、混合圖像T恤及連帽衛衣，全均綴有別緻的55DSL細節。假如《Monster Moshpits》及《Screaming Wolf boy》等作品仍無法教你相信世間無奇不有，那麼你真的無可救藥！
