    this saturday the 19th of april will be the 3rd DISCO STEP CHILD at volar...

    featuring dj's drafus (meaning me!) and ben ku.

    SATURDAY 19TH APRIL.

    before 12am: complimentary entry for all on guestlist
    after 12am: $150 at door (includes 1 drink)

    So, is this a blast to the disco past, or just a cool name for the show?  I remember the first time I ever heard disco, 1976, Disco Lady.  I went to an 80% African American high school.  We just called it dance music, no special name for it.  Can't say I was ever a big fan of disco, I was more of a funk baby than anything.  Then, in college, it was New Wave.  I am so dating myself!
