    2day I went 2 shop 4 a new perfume I guess maybe bcos I am looking 4 a change...
    a change in life
    I have used the same perfume for 6 years now
    as I walked past the shop I saw this perfume

    its the perfume worn by someone who is special 2 me 10 years ago the perfume reminds me a lot of things...
    this will b my 1st new change

    i feel the same about polo sport+cigarettes.  olds of old friends used to smell like that.  

    my perfume du jour is marc by marc jacobs.  floral, but light.

    Maybe you could also buy a new perfume that doesn't remind you of the past?  That way you have a choice about whether you look forward to the future or back to the past for your frame of reference on any given day.  Personally, I have about 8 different perfumes.  I choose my scent based on the season (heavy scents don't work so well in the summer heat and humidity) and my mood.  Or I can choose a scent to change my mood.
