  • New Test Fights From LBP Member Keith Gubbins!

    Hey all, so our resident Killa Korean Keith Gubbins has been spending his time doing our noir film and brushing up his camera, editing, and action direction skills for Reuben Ortega's film being shot next year and here is two recent videos he did in prep for it.

    The first one has Keith going against Alex Hashioka-Oatfield with choreography by Reuben (we used his liner notes from a previous fight) and added choreography by Keith. I did the camera work while Keith edited the whole thing:

    Second, has Keith and Reuben going at it again with both handling choreography, and Keith doing the camera work (off a tripod no less) and as well as editing it:

    Watch both in high quality and enjoy! It's pretty awesome, considering that Keith has only had his camera for barely 6-7 months and he's already doing pretty good, and Ru hasn't fought consistently on camera since 2005. Give it up for both! =D

    Past that, we're trucking along on our noir film, finishing up this garage fight for ep. 2 this week. After that, just finishing up some key acting scenes, our ending, and then the rest of the fights! Then it'll be out! *gasp-ed* hahaha. I'll put up stills soon enough as december rolls through.     Good stuff.  I know this isn't for real but you guys always do such a great job of making it look convincingly so.  *winces* :D

    hahaa... loved the credits at the end of the 2nd vid... =D good fighting vids... pretty crazy... =D
