As Roger Fan pointed out, I'm the first person from Cincinnati repping on AnD. Word! I'm a writer, connected to the Asian-American community through my Korean-born husband, our two hapa sons, and my lifelong interest in Asian cultures.
My work has appeared in periodicals, advertising, and children's curriculum, and I do a lot of writing for the web, but my dream is a career in film. I'm working on getting my first screenplay into production, and I have more ideas in the works as well. Creating good roles for Asian-American actors is something that's really important to me. I feel fortunate to give exposure to talented Asians in film by writing movie reviews for their films.
