Wow! What a blast. I spent three months in Turkey working as a stunt driver / stunt performer on the latest 007 film which is entitled 'Skyfall'. I met lots of great people including some of the top Hollywood stunt guys.
Here are some pictures.
Me and my best mate Ümit Demirbas who also worked on this film as a stuntman.

Yeah, but make sure you have those time-capsuled blogs saved on a backup document. I was going through my drafts to uncover my old posts which I typed up for the release of "Total Recall" and was only able to find the entry I typed on the last day of shooting. I'm pretty sure I had other entries before that. I've typed up a few and those are saved for the release of Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. Speaking of Guillermo del Toro, he's a great guy! I had the honour of being able to visit him at the set of Pacific Rim over a month after I was finished with my part in the movie.
Sounds great! As impressive as it would be for one to complete a feature in 6 days, I was initially concerned was that all the time you had to shoot your whole film...! Shooting promos or scenes for film are becoming more and more common practice in order to raise finance for completion of features. Wishing you the very best on your project!
I'll PM you with my email address... :)
No problem dude! I'm doing alright thanks. Enjoying it here in HK.
That's awesome you got your film going and scheduled to shoot in Istanbul too! May I ask how long of a shoot do you have for your feature or is it just the 6 days...?
Good to hear from you Hussain! Thanks for the kind words on "Anguish". Yes, it was shot on the Canon 7D with an anamorphic lens. All the slow-mo shots were function of the 7D.
It's been a while my friend! Thanks for stopping by again. How are you? What have you been up to of late?
Hope you had a great start to the New Year and here's wishing you all the best in 2011 onwards! :)
Good to hear from you brother! All is well, keeping busy with my Kung Fu training and more recently took up Tai Chi as well which has been great.
I hope all is good and well with you. Do have a great weekend, buddy!
Cool! I hope to get it shown in Germany one day. Will have to see about getting it properly subtitled, etc. Would be cool to take a trip there to host a screening. I'll let you know what's the deal.
Hussain Abdullah began his career by working on TV productions and commercials as extra, stunt performer & coordinator, runner, grip, driver etc. However, what he enjoyed doing a lot more was making short martial-arts / action videos with his own team. He was a movie and DVD reviewer for many years before he started working as 1st Assistant Director on his first international action movie called FINALE where he closely worked with actors and filmmakers from Germany, Italy, Hong Kong and South Korea.
He has constantly been writing action movie scripts and is currently in production of his directorial debut, a martial arts tournament movie called 'Pehlivan' which is to be shot on-location in Jakarta and Istanbul.
He most recently spent three months in Turkey to work as stunt performer/stunt driver on the latest 007 film 'Skyfall' alongside Daniel Craig, Naomi Harris and director Sam Mendes.
