  I just got back from my trip back to the States, where I got to spend time in New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. Since it was such a long trip (five weeks!), I'll have to blog about each mini-trip separately. First up, New York City!
  
  Since NYC is one of my top favorite cities to live in and visit, I was really excited to be back! Most of the trip was spent eating with my relatives, hanging out with my girl Grace and exploring her new neighborhood Astoria in Queens (where I crashed for most of the trip), catching up with other friends, and eating lots! I even had the chance to meet up with a few AnD friends for the first time, including Wendy Cheng, Butter, and Lisa Ko. :)
  
  Some highlights of my NYC trip include Philharmonics in the Park (basically one HUGE picnic in Central Park with thousands of other people while listening to live classical music), Shakespeare in the Park (see previous blog), walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and eating pizza at Grimaldi's (thanks Butter for joining me), the Met, Central Park, seeing Boyz II Men live on the Good Morning America taping in Bryant Park (where they sang one new song, and one old song "End of the Road"... after all these years, they still sound GOOD!), and seeing Vienna Teng and her live band perform in a small lounge (Wendy blogged about it here). Here's one shot of them..
  
  
  I didn't take as many photos as I'd hoped during the trip cuz I was sick most of the time so I didn't have the energy to lug around my bulky camera/lens. But I did manage to have a few "photo days" where I got to stroll around some of my favorite neighborhoods and take pictures... I really love how much character and color the different neighborhoods have, so here are some pics in color. I'll post up some B&W pics next...
